Supernatural service...

Today (Thursday) we handed out leaflets in the morning. We finished the areas we were given and then some! I truly believe that God helped us achieve more than 5 people should have done! In the afternoon, we did yard work at the Church. (I helped mostly in a directional capacity.)

Tomorrow is our day to tour Boston.

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support!

Where can we get some Ben-Gay?

Hi everyone! Yesterday it was cold and rainy so we painted inside the church. Jim and Adam were going to take down the huge banner from the top of the pillars of the church but they needed a ladder. The pastor, Chris Bass, dropped them off at the Home Depot and they carried it (all 70 pounds of it) back for a mile and a half! Thank you for all your prayers for strength!

Chris has had a few high school groups come through this summer to get the church ready. Although we do have a couple of young guys, our group is different. Instead of the questions Chris gets from the highschoolers, like, "Where can we go to get a frisbee? This time he hears, "Where can we get some Ben-Gay?" No, seriously, we are tired at night but there is joy in the morning! This morning we sang during our devotional to start our day. Tricia

Pictures from Tuesday!

Greetings All,

Tuesday we walked our legs off in Belmont, MA. We know what postmen feel like on a small scale, but God is good and He sustained us through your prayers. At lunch one of the managers asked us what we were doing and we told her we were from TX telling them about RFC. She was baffled at the whole missions concept. She asked us for two flyers so she could hang them up in their restaurant. Pray for her and the folks who will see the flyer that they will be drawn to the Gospel and RFC.

We have been pleasantly suprised that most people are receptive to us giving them flyers, we've only had a few people decline. The weather has been great for walking and causing calves cramps! Thanks for praying for stamina.

We have attached pics from Tuesday! One of our pictures reminds us that God always leaves a light for the truth, it was found on Bus 78 on our way to Harvard Station.

Pics from Boston

Here are a few pictures of the team...

We made it!

We made it to Boston safe and sound! Yesterday we went to the 2nd Sunday service of the Redeemer Fellowship Church. The music was wonderful! There were 2 young people who went up front and led the worship. Chris Bass gave a really good sermon on I Thes 4:1-12. There were 52 people in attendance, which is very good for a new church-in New England, nonetheless!
After church the congregations is invited into the fellowship hall for refreshments of cookies and coffee.

Today (Monday) we handed out thousands (okay, hundreds) of flyers around nearby neighborhoods. Some of the houses were on huge hills but God is good and I seemed to be on the more level side of the street while my partner, Adam, was not!! The people that we ran into were very friendly.

We are really tired but are having fun helping in any way we can.

Thank you for your prayers. I will try to send pictures later. We have been loaned an old mac laptop which is not supporting the blog site so Stephanie or Chris is posting this for us.

Blessings, Tricia Alexander
